Sheremetyevo International Airport Passenger Traffic up 30.7% in January-May 2010

Sheremetyevo International Airport handled 6.572 million people in January-May 2010 which is 30.7% as much as in the same period of 2009. International passenger traffic totaled 4.194 million people in the five-month period of 2009 (+24.3%), domestic passenger traffic—2.377 million people (+43.8%). In May 2010, the airport handled 1.662 million people (+35.7%), including international service—1.023 million people (+24.2%), domestic service—638 200 people (+59.5%). In May 2010, the airport saw record high passenger traffic. Thus, as of May 30, 2010 the airport handled 64 500 people (+42.3%).
