On July 3, 2010 from 11:00 am (Moscow time) Sheremetyevo International Airport is opening a pedestrian gallery connecting Terminals D and E, which will enable passengers to convey between these terminals within the general access zone. Thus, Sheremetyevo Airport jointly with its partners is putting into operation the South Airport
Complex (SC) consisting of Terminals D, E, F and Aeroexpress railway terminal as an integrated facility in the general access zone.
Putting a connecting gallery into operation will make passengers conveyance between Terminals D, E and F as fast and easy as possible. Moreover, now it will be equally convenient for Aeroexpress passengers to get to any Sheremetyevo Airport terminal. It will take air passengers just
The total length of the gallery is about 200 m. It is fit with state-of-the-art equipment, including moving sidewalks—4 travelators are installed (two of them are 25 m long and the other two—
90 m long).
In the future, Terminals D, E, F, SC will be also integrated in the “clean zone”, which will benefit transit passengers, provide for convenient connecting flights and further development of the international hub in Sheremetyevo.
Taking into account that from June 30 Sheremetyevo organized free conveyance of air passengers to Terminals B and C via the airport internal radius using Aeroexpress trains to get to all airport terminals will become now more convenient for passengers.
