Sheremetyevo International Airport Presents Its Development Program to RF Prime Minister

The Director General of Sheremetyevo International Airport Mikhail Vasilenko presented the results of five-year development program. Under the program, the terminal F has been upgraded, the terminals D and E were built forming together with the terminal F South Airport Complex meant for the operations under the hub technologies. The complex has the total area of about 400 000 sq m with the throughput capacity of 25 million people annually. After the reconstruction of the terminal its area was expanded by 3.5 times with the throughput capacity totaling 32 million people. The state has invested 8 billion roubles into the airport’s infrastructure and the borrowed funds invested into the terminal and infrastructure facility construction were 60 billion roubles (extra-budgetary funds).
